I found these at Bunnings, I was skeptical when the sales person told me they are the 'bees knees'...I have now used this brand of connector for maybe 5 years and am yet to have one pop of the tap or have the hose pop out!!

I paid about $7 for my last one, maybe a year ago...be warned that there are look-a-likes, make sure you get the brand shown.
