Christmas in Sydney - 2014 -
Jan 2015 -'the return trip'
When we left Sydney following Christmas 2014 we returned to Brisbane by one of our favourite routes...avoiding major highways as much as possible...click on the map for a larger view, then click on a photo for the slide show..navigate via the arrows.
We returned to Morisset Show Grounds on our return trip back home, Morisset is quite easy to get to from Sydney, from the Lane Cove caravan park its mainly by excellent free-ways with just one short section through traffic at Pennant Hills, Morisset is just 100km from Sydney.
From Morisset we headed up the Hunter Valley to a free camp at Broke. Large grassy area set aside for camping, There is a toilet here but little else. Water can be found at the fire-station over the road, there is a small shop/servo there too, and a bottle shop!.
