Lake Wallace - PJ Hall Park
Over the Blue Mountains heading north now, our first stop was at Lake Wallace situated near the intersection of the Great Western Highway and the Castlereagh Highway, its about 140km from Sydney. The massive Wallerarang Power Station sits nearby. Click the photo below to see the slide show.
A few rules apply it seems...but it was ok.
What a delightful sunrise...looks cold but wasn't really, steam coming off the Lake was quite impressive.
Not a large lake but a delightful one.Wallerawang Power Station draws its cooling water from Lake Wallace, it is a thermal coal power station, The power station is equipped with two turbo-alternators of 500 megawatts (670,000 hp) each.
