Nindigully Pub.
The Nindigully Pub is 208km west of Yelarbon....at this point in this trip we were in no hurry to get home, we decided to go west instead of east. On leaving Yelarbon our plan was to stop in at Goondiwindi for groceries and travel onto Talwood, a free camp heading toward St George, however the Talwood camp did not look inviting so we ended up travelling right through to the 'Pub. ts one of those iconic places where people 'must visit'. The pub has seen better days with a wooden verandah in very poor condition, in our opinion a dangerous state. We have stopped here a number of times but honestly will not be in a hurry to return.
An area in front of the pub, alongside Moon Creek, is set aside for camping. Unfortunately the drought and overuse has taken its toll, barely a blade of grass to be seen.
