Premer. NSW
Premer is a small town with a population of around 200 souls, it sits off any main highways about 70km west of Coonabarabran. We heard of a low cost campsite there so we thought we'd take a look..click on the photo below to start the slideshow.
The campground offers a flat grassy area to set-up, it offers little else. We were unsure exactly what we were supposed to pay as there were three signs all with different fees shown but we think it is $12 with power overnight, $5 without.
Several different signs had differing fees!
This sign 'tricked' us alright. Upon arrival we saw the familiar dump point sign and are were pleased as we needed it...closer inspection however tells travellers that there is a dump point but its at Quirindi, 85 km away!! On now to Gunnedah, click on the link to come along.
